Lauterbrunnen Village, Canton of Bern

Staubbach Falls is Lauterbrunnen’s most famous natural landmark. The waterfall drops approximately 300 metres from the cliff above the village. The waterfall famously inspired German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. During suitable seasonal conditions, visitors may walk towards the viewing gallery behind the waterfall. Kandergrund, Kandertal, Canton of Bern

Blausee is a small, crystal-clear Alpine lake surrounded by a protected forest nature park. The landscape was formed approximately 15,000 years ago following a major rockfall. The lake is known for its intense blue colour and exceptionally clear water, allowing visitors to see trout swimming below the surface. The surrounding park offers forest paths, picnic areas and scenic viewpoints. A glass-bottom rowing boat may operate during the summer season and is normally included with park admission. Interlaken is positioned between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and serves as one of the main gateways to the Jungfrau Region. Engelberg, Canton of Obwalden

Mount Titlis offers a high-altitude Alpine experience at more than 3,000 metres above sea level. Visitors travel from Engelberg towards the summit using a combination of mountain cable cars. Summit attractions may include the Titlis Glacier Cave, Titlis Cliff Walk, Ice Flyer chairlift, panoramic viewing areas and seasonal snow activities. The Cliff Walk is located at approximately 3,041 metres and is recognised as Europe’s highest suspension bridge. The Glacier Cave features a pathway beneath the surface of the glacier. Stans, Canton of Nidwalden

The Stanserhorn experience begins with a historic funicular railway from Stans before passengers transfer to the distinctive CabriO cable car. The CabriO is a double-deck cable car with an open upper deck, allowing passengers to enjoy unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. Stanserhorn operates seasonally and will only be included after confirmation of the official timetable, weather conditions and ticket availability. Engelberg, Canton of Obwalden

Mount Brunni is located on the sunny side of Engelberg and offers family-friendly mountain activities. Its main seasonal attraction is a 660-metre summer toboggan track at Ristis. Visitors can control their own speed while travelling along the track against a backdrop of Alpine scenery. The summer toboggan operates only during its published season and in suitable dry weather. Stoos, Canton of Schwyz

Travel aboard the Stoosbahn, recognised as the steepest funicular railway in the world. The railway reaches a maximum gradient of approximately 110 per cent. Its specially designed cylindrical cabins automatically remain level while travelling along the steep mountain route. The funicular takes visitors directly to Stoos, a peaceful, car-free mountain village situated approximately 1,300 metres above sea level. From Stoos Village, continue towards Fronalpstock using the operating chairlifts and connecting walking routes. Fronalpstock stands approximately 1,922 metres above sea level. On a clear day, the summit offers panoramic views of several lakes and mountain peaks across Central Switzerland. Chairlift operations remain subject to season, weather, wind, maintenance and safety conditions. Ibach, Canton of Schwyz

Visit the official Victorinox Factory Store at the company’s headquarters in Ibach. Victorinox was founded in 1884 and is internationally recognised as the manufacturer of the original Swiss Army Knife. The store offers pocket knives, kitchen knives, professional tools, watches and selected travel accessories. This programme includes a shopping visit to the factory store. Entry into the actual production facility or a guided factory tour is not automatically included. Rigi Kulm, between the Cantons of Schwyz and Lucerne

Continue to Arth-Goldau and board the cogwheel railway towards Rigi Kulm. Mount Rigi is traditionally known as the “Queen of the Mountains” and played an important role in the development of early Swiss tourism. Europe’s first mountain railway began operating from Vitznau towards Mount Rigi in 1871. From Rigi Kulm, visitors can enjoy views over Lake Lucerne, Lake Zug and the mountain ranges of Central Switzerland. Access from Kriens, Canton of Lucerne, or Alpnachstad, Canton of Obwalden

Mount Pilatus is one of the most famous mountains overlooking Lucerne. Visitors may travel from Kriens using panoramic gondolas and the aerial cableway. When the Alpnachstad route is operating, visitors may also experience the world’s steepest cogwheel railway. Commissioned in 1889, the Pilatus cogwheel railway reaches gradients of up to 48 per cent and takes approximately 30 minutes to travel between Alpnachstad and Pilatus Kulm. Brienz, Canton of Bern

When the full summit service is operating, visitors may board the historic Brienz Rothorn Railway. The steam cogwheel railway has been operating since 1892 and travels approximately 7.6 kilometres through forests, mountain meadows and Alpine scenery towards Rothorn Kulm. The one-way journey takes around one hour. Capacity is limited, making advance seat reservation strongly recommended. Lucerne City Centre, Canton of Lucerne

Explore Lucerne’s historic Old Town, the River Reuss waterfront and the famous Chapel Bridge. Built during the 14th century, Chapel Bridge is one of Lucerne’s most recognisable landmarks. The wooden bridge crosses the River Reuss beside the historic octagonal Water Tower. Other landmarks may include the Jesuit Church, Old Town squares, painted building façades and the lakeside promenade. Zermatt, Canton of Valais

Zermatt is a car-free Alpine village. Private vehicles must stop at Täsch before travellers continue to Zermatt by shuttle car train. The excursion may be arranged entirely by private transport to Täsch followed by the local shuttle car train. Zermatt, Canton of Valais

Zermatt is a traditional mountain resort situated approximately 1,600 metres above sea level beneath the Matterhorn. The village is known for its car-free environment, traditional wooden chalets, mountaineering heritage, luxury hotels and dramatic Alpine landscape. Electric taxis and authorised electric vehicles operate within the village, while most central attractions can be explored on foot. Recommended village visit: Approximately 30 min - 1 hour

Kirchbrücke, Zermatt

Kirchbrücke is one of the most accessible locations for photographing the Matterhorn from within Zermatt. From the bridge area, visitors may enjoy a classic view of the mountain rising above the village and the Matter Vispa River. Visibility depends entirely on cloud cover and weather conditions. Hinterdorfstrasse, Zermatt

Hinterdorf is the historic section of Zermatt and contains traditional wooden barns, houses and storage buildings constructed in the architectural style of the Upper Valais region. Many of the historic storage buildings were built on wooden supports and circular stone slabs designed to prevent rodents from reaching stored food. The old village provides an interesting contrast to Zermatt’s modern hotels, boutiques and restaurants. Between Zermatt Railway Station and the village centre

Bahnhofstrasse is Zermatt’s main pedestrian street and features souvenir shops, Swiss watch boutiques, bakeries, cafés, restaurants and sporting-goods stores. Visitors will have free time for shopping, refreshments and personal sightseeing before returning to the railway station. Recommended free time: 1–1.5 hours

Gornergrat Bahn Station

Subject to sufficient time, weather, ticket availability and the confirmed package arrangement, travellers may continue from Zermatt to Gornergrat by cogwheel railway. Gornergrat stands above 3,000 metres and offers panoramic views of the Matterhorn, surrounding glaciers and numerous Alpine peaks. This excursion requires additional time and should only be included when the group arrives in Zermatt early enough. Unless specifically stated under the package inclusions, the Gornergrat ticket is not included.
